The Verify2Hire website and process is based on technology being used right now by dozens of government entities throughout the US to track and manage vendor certifications. The original technology was developed by our software company in Phoenix, Arizona, and it has been successfully altered to create the Verify2Hire system. The Verify2Hire Certification & Seal was born of our need to effectively and efficiently hire new employees.
Like many companies across the United States, we had issues in our attempts to hire qualified people for a range of positions. The response generated by ads on www.monster.com, www.jobing.com, and www.craigslist.com were overwhelming, usually exceeding 250 resumes for one position. It took a tremendous amount of time to wade through every resume to decide if the person was a potential for interview and took away from the normal daily responsibilities of those responsible for hiring. There was no way to effectively sort or prioritize resumes to choose the top candidates for further review; instead every resume had to be read. The cost and hassle of using a placement service removed that as an option. We spent many hours calling and verifying every potential applicant's previous employers and references. There had to be a better way and we set out to create it.
